Contractor Sales / Estimator

Bethel Mills, one of the oldest and most respected business in central Vermont, has been the builder’s supplier of choice for quality lumber and building materials for over 238 years. We currently have an opening for a Contractor Sales/Estimator whose primary focus will be on “in house” selling. The Contractor Sales/ Estimator works in a team oriented office setting.

The position provides stellar customer service to the general contractor but also fields calls from a variety of other customers on the phone, in person, and over the net. Knowledge of lumber, building materials, millwork, and construction methods are required. Sales, estimating, job-site visits, product research, pricing, prospecting, placing orders, problem solving, negotiation, trade show attendance, and other tasks are all normal activities during the week.
